A winter hit that bent panels and opened a yard fast
After that brutal 2007-2008 winter, we got a call from a Lawson Park Area homeowner who walked outside to find a section of fence leaning hard under snow load and ice. The posts had twisted overnight, and one corner rattled in the wind. You could see the frost still clinging to the rails the morning we arrived. In a neighborhood with a lot of 1950_1980 homes and open back yards, a damaged fence doesn’t stay a small problem for long. Pets get loose, kids wander, and the property starts feeling exposed.
We went straight to the failed posts, set new supports, and reset the rails with our crew keeping the line tight as the ground thawed. We use that approach because winter damage usually means hidden movement below grade, not just broken boards up top. Jamal checked the alignment himself, and we cleaned the site before we left. The fence held square again, and the homeowner got that secure feeling back without waiting around and worrying about the yard all week.
I saw the damage that morning, and by the time your crew finished, I felt like my yard was protected again.
